VE Day Ceremony Request

This VE Day (Thursday 8th May – further details to follow), we invite people of the parish to commemorate the heroes in your family who played their part in securing our freedom in the second world war. Whether they served on the front lines, contributed on the home front, or lived through the wartime years with courage, their sacrifices deserve to be remembered.

As a small tribute to those who gave so much we would like to mention them in a small ceremony and celebrate their stories, so please, If you have a loved one you’d like to commemorate, we would be honoured to include them in this moment of national reflection.
